Sunday Lunch Club

We are very excited to announce our Sunday Lunch Club.  A 3 course Sunday family roast without the washing up!  Each month we will be serving a delicious 3 course meal for the whole family to share.  It’s the perfect excuse to get together and enjoy a traditional Sunday roast.

There will be a selection of starters for the table to share to begin the meal.

Then your table will have an individual roast with family style servings of roasted potatoes, vegetables and accompaniments.  Our chefs will even carve your roast at the table.

To follow there will be a dessert for the whole table to share.

There will be an option of 3 different roasts:
Loin of pork with crackling £21.50 per adult 3 course meal
Organic chicken with stuffing £23.50 per adult 3 course meal
Sirloin of beef with Yorkshire pudding £25.00 per adult 3 course meal

Reservations from 12.00 noon to 2.00pm.  Please contact us on 01803 200 044 to make a reservation.

The whole table must have the same roast.  Children under 12 will be charged at half price.  Number of guests must be cofirmed 48 hours in advance.

Foraging Lunches

We have been serving foraged foods on our menus for some time now and our Head Chef, Simon is very much a keen forager in his spare time.  He even has a little helper sometimes (Cicely is 5 and loves going foraging with Daddy!).

So we have decided to pass on some of this knowledge to our customers by hosting a series of Foraging Lunches.

Our very own foraging expert David Harrison will take you on a 2 hour guided walk along the coastal and woodland areas around Torquay to show you where to find the best foraged foods and also to give you an insight into what is edible around us.

The walk will finish at The Elephant where a 2 course lunch (starter and main course) will be served in our Brasserie.  There will be a dessert option available as well if you wish to make it a 3 course lunch.

The cost for the day is £30 per person and includes the cost of the guided walk and also the 2 course lunch at The Elephant.  Any drinks are paid separately.
