Christmas at The Elephant
Our Christmas party menus will include treats such as Brixham crab, toasted spelt, soft boiled Bantam egg, sauce vierge, our own farm-reared Kelly Bronze Turkey, confit leg with Savoy cabbage, salt-baked carrot, thyme-roasted potato, cranberry jus and for dessert traditional Christmas pudding with Somerset brandy custard and Chilled chocolate fondant, salted caramel centre, burnt butter Ice Cream.
There’s plenty of festive dishes to look forward to, please note that we require a £20 deposit per person with your Christmas lunch and New Year’s Eve reservation. For the party menu we require £10 deposit per person with a minimum 6 people per booking.
The restaurant serves a full à la carte of freshly prepared dishes, showcasing the best of what the South West & our very own Southdown Farm has to offer. The Elephant is open for lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Saturday.
We welcome children of all ages and offer a Children’s Menu.
Every lunchtime from Tuesday to Saturday, we offer a Set Lunch Menu starting from just £16.50. This menu changes daily so there is almost always something new to try.
For those looking for a special culinary treat we offer our Tasting Menu to those arriving before 1.15pm at lunch and before 8.30pm for dinner during the week, 9.00pm on weekends.
We strive to keep our Wine List as innovative and interesting as possible. You will notice that we also try to keep it short so that the wines offered are all handpicked and of the highest quality.
