Would you like to become a Chef for a day?
Simon Hulstone, is opening his kitchen doors to aspiring chefs (home or professional), foodies and kitchen curious professionals to help him prepare a four course luncheon to a full restaurant.
Simon and his Brigade will be working alongside you to prepare the meal as well as teaching you some of the “tricks of the trade.”
The day will start at 9.00am with a health and safety outline followed by a menu briefing. You will then be allocated your new position within the kitchen team to prepare the meal under the instruction of Simon and his team.
At 12.30pm a table of four of your own invited guests will arrive and sit down for a meal cooked by you!
After the full lunch service you then have time to chat with your guests before they leave.
Simon and his team will then cook for you. This will give you the opportunity to enjoy the other side of the swinging door.
The day will finish at 5.00pm. The cost is £250 which includes lunch for you and your four guests, a specially selected glass of wine matched with each course, your day’s training in the kitchen, and signed menus.
There is a maximum of 5 kitchen “students” per day and extra lunch guests can be added at the cost of £40 per person.
